Getting Hold of Us
You can reach us at (707) 213-3692, or find us at 5140 Business Center Dr, Fairfield, CA 94534. We work out of the Fairfield area and take jobs within roughly a 20-mile stretch of it, covering places like Suisun City two miles out, Green Valley at seven, and out past Rio Vista, Martinez, and Winters toward the edges of that range. If you're closer in, you'll usually get someone out sooner than if you're calling from Rodeo or Pacheco at the far end of that radius.
We don't run a call center. When you phone, you're talking to someone who knows the truck schedule, not a script. If we're mid-job and can't pick up, leave a number and we'll call back the same day. We don't do 24-hour emergency dispatch - if your spring snaps at 2 a.m. and the door is safely down, it can usually wait until morning rather than paying overtime rates for a job that isn't going anywhere.
Who Turns Up
The person who shows up at your house is the one doing the repair
We don't subcontract the work out to someone else's crew. They'll be driving a marked vehicle, and they'll walk you through what's wrong with the door before touching anything, not after.
Most of what we see across this service area comes from houses built between 1938 and 2002
With a heavy concentration from the 1960s and '70s spread across the 19 named communities we cover. That means a lot of original torsion spring setups, older steel panel doors, and openers that were installed before today's safety-sensor standards were common. We know what those older systems look like because we work on them constantly, not because we're guessing from a manual.
The mild temperate climate here is kind to garage doors compared to places with hard freeze-thaw cycles or heavy coastal salt air
We're not fighting rust and cracked seals from weather extremes the way crews in harsher climates are. That doesn't mean doors don't wear out. It means when they fail here, it's usually age and use, not weather damage.
The Work We Take On
We handle torsion and extension spring replacement, broken cables, bent or off-track rollers, opener repair and installation, and full door replacement when a repair isn't worth it anymore. On a door from the 1960s or '70s stock common in this area, that last call comes up a lot - original hardware on a 50-plus-year-old door often costs more to patch piece by piece than to replace outright.
What we don't do: we don't install or service commercial dock doors, and we don't do structural framing work if your opening needs to be rebuilt rather than re-fitted. If a job needs a contractor's license for structural changes, we'll tell you that up front instead of taking the money and improvising.
Given the median household income of $102,938 across this service area, we see a fair number of customers who could replace a door outright but ask us first whether a repair makes sense. We'll give you a straight answer either way, not just the answer that's better for us.
The Short Version
We're a garage door repair and install company based in Fairfield, working the surrounding area out to about 20 miles - Suisun City, Green Valley, Elmira, Hartley, American Canyon, Benicia, Pittsburg, Martinez, and the smaller towns between them. Most of the doors we touch are on houses built from 1938 to 2002, with the bulk of that stock dating to the 1960s and '70s, which shapes what kind of springs, tracks, and openers we carry parts for.
Call (707) 213-3692 or stop by 5140 Business Center Dr if you want to talk through a problem before booking a visit. We'd rather tell you a repair isn't worth it than sell you one that is.
